Synopsis
At a time when Americans are ever more aware of the strong Latin American presence all around them, Franco-Ontarian musician Damien Robitaille set out on a unique adventure: to find the descendants of the French Canadians who migrated to the United States to find their fortune. From Waterville, Maine to Los Angeles, with stops in Detroit, St. Louis and Frenchtown, Montana, this road movie, inspired by the travels of Jack Kerouac, takes a fascinating look at the past and present of a French-Canadian diaspora three centuries old and 11 million strong.
