Synopsis
They are called Samina, Akli, Marta, Edite, Iwonka, Leila, Aïcha, Eduardo, Liana, Soukeïna, Valérie and David. Everyone is redesigning the face of Montreal in their own way. If they embody the hope for a better life, the fact remains that these immigrants or children of immigrants also bear the stigma of their family and go through difficulties, in addition to having to forge an identity that they must then define. Through their eyes and along the course they have mapped out, follow them in turn to discover their own culture and to taste a part of their experience. Living together, a sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter, but always authentic foray into the heart of the immigrant experience!
